The rain didn’t stop the excited brides from attending the fabulous event at One Esplanade last November 9, 2008. Women came from all over the Metro to party the night away. The place was packed with great booths from the different sponsors. It was overflowing with food and drinks as well.

Aside from the bridal fashion show by designer Amonn Velasco, the highlight of the night was the unveiling of the 2009 calendar boys which created quite a stir amongst the almost-married ladies. By donating to Bantay Bata 163, the ladies got a chance to vote for their favorite hunk.

The Belo Medical Group treated lucky brides-to-be with prizes such as free facials and body scrubs to help make them the most beautiful, blushing brides on their big days. Belo also sponsored a dating game, participated in by 10 daring brides. The hot and sexy love search brought about screams and cheers from the audience. Everyone was excited to find out who the mystery hunk would pick! More than winning the attention of the mystery hunk, the chosen bride brought home loads of treats and freebies from Belo!

The awarding ceremony happened last November 5, 2008 at Taste Asia, SM Mall of Asia. The event was graced by Digital Filipino club members, last year’s winners, as well as the current winners from the different categories.
The criteria for judging was explained thoroughly by Digital Filipino Club founder . In between the distribution of awards, short talks were conducted by the event sponsors. It was an interesting afternoon where people behind websites and blogs got a chance to mingle and share success stories. Belo is proud to have been a part of the event.

After airing two successful seasons on The Filipino Channel (TFC), Belo Beauty 101, the 30-minute beauty and medical tele-magazine program, will now be seen on free TV every Saturday morning starting November 8, 8:30 to 9 a.m. on Studio 23.
Noted cosmetic surgeon Dr. Vicki Belo lives up to her tag as the “Philippine Ambassadress of Beauty” by being the show’s resident beauty and medical expert who introduces the Belo clinic’s wide range of treatments and services.
The thematic episodes every week give viewers a peek into the world of cosmetic surgery, which Dr. Belo revolutionized for the past 18 years.
