After a feeding program at our house clinic in cooperation with Gawad Kalinga and fellow volunteers, I rushed to Rockwell excited to watch the premiere screening of “Asia’s Titanic”. After the screening all ll I can say is that award-winning Filipino director Yam Laranas was very fortunate to have been tapped by The National Geographic to recreate the tragic MV Doña Paz collision with an oil tanker more than a decade ago. Back in 2004 (pre-Law school), after a showbiz/movie welfare foundation I immediately worked for a political party gearing up for the presidential elections. Based on those jobs can dare say, a career in politics much like show business is not an easy ride.

Fascinating actually, I wonder how they (a politician, an actor, filmmaker, etc.) can possibly handle such a public life and have at least a bit of a private life. A part of my blog (profiles) is dedicated to people whom I had the chance to chat with.
