UNICEF and SM launches “Drink for 2″

unicef1 sm_logo1

UNICEF and SM invited me once again for another fabulous charity event.. the “Drink for 2″ launch.

SM and UNICEF renew their partnership to bring safe, clean, drinking water to communities that need them.

This cause-related marketing (CRM) activity gives SM shoppers who drink a bottle of SM’s Distilled drinking water a chance to donate to UNICEF via this simple mechanism: buy 1 bottle= 25 centavos goes to UNICEF to support its water and sanitation programme.

Last year, SM was able to raise P2,554,440. for the children of Masbate (click here for more information) which means that today Barangay Guiom is now blessed with improved drinking water 24 hours a day via a water pump, tank, pipeline, filtration system and generator. With this success, everyone hopes  to continue bringing clean water to the children of Capiz for this year’s program.

Another noteworthy endeavor indeed!

Cheers and God bless! =]
