The Nutcracker at CCP..a royal treat indeed!

Imagine my excitement when I got this awesome invite from the Department of Tourism and the Cultural Center of the Philippines:

Subject: The Nutcracker show and photo shoot
Date: Tuesday, December 1, 2009, 12:10 AM

Hello Sire,

Just in case you want to watch The Nutcracker at CCP Main Theater, and also take photos, let me know. I can provide two free tickets for you.

OMG-ness as in uber jump for joy! My sis and I have been avid ballet fans since time immemorial..we watched the Russian Ballet perform The Nutcracker a few years ago..plus CCP’s The Firebird (also a few years ago) was fabulous! We watched the Dec. 12 8pm slot and gladly amazed that our Filipino ballet dancers are still up to par with the international scene. The performance was flawless (choreography is by Noordin Jumalon after V. Vainonen and L. Ivanov) cast and orchestra alike, like being transported to a magical world plus Ms. Margie Moran Floirendo performed onstage too..a royal treat indeed!

Its not just a beauty soap or whitening soap mind you, its also mild that even babies may use it plus its Filipino-owned and manufactured! Continue Reading »

GOODLES: uber good noodles either for dine in or to go

Everybody loves to eat pasta—from kids to adults. Currently, to get a really good  pasta dish, people would have to get a table from a casual or fine dining establishment with a sit down atmosphere and wait for about 20 minutes to be served. *What I rave about aside from their uber delish pasta (Salsa Rossa Shrimp is teh lurve!) and generous servings is the fact that their packaging is sooo convenient for “to go” moments like for a quick office meal, flick snack or just to bring home to the family!
