Based on the true story of Michael Oher and Leigh Anne Tuohy, this seemingly sport-related (football) flick is more than just that. After discovering that Oher is homeless, Tuohy takes him under her wing.

 What I like about this flick are the tiny details/scenarios like Oher eating at the dinner table while Tuohy’s family was accustomed to eating in the living room watching sports..the family broke that habit and ate as a family in the dinner table as well.

Yes, it is a feel good flick, yes it was based on a true story and yes there were more angles which it has tackled. Racism, Lack of knowledge of educational disabilities, etc. What pulls you in are questions of  ”Will the family accept Oher?”; “Will there be a major incident from the Tuohy’s decision to leally adopt Oher?’; to the basic “Where is Oher’s family?”

Those questions were answered plus a lot more! I highly recommend this to be watched by the whole family!
