What is Winema?

A first and only in the Philippines, Winema at SM Cinema is a groundbreaking innovation which turns the whole movie audience into human joysticks through interactive cinema gaming. The project launched with Boink Out (an Arkanoid game) and Power Catcher (catching falling products) just in time for the blockbuster movies this summer.

How do you play Winema?

The elements of the game are fairly easy. With a motion sensitive camera, movie watchers will maneuver the character on screen left and right by waving their arms in the air according to the direction they want it to follow. Continue Reading »

The Losers (2010): “Anyone Would Be Dead By Now”

the losers
I admit of not having read the comic book so no inkling of what to expect before watching the press preview. From the trailer it would seem like another “bang bang-get the girl-blow up stuff” or an “A Team-ish” action flick..but no. Its about a CIA  team blacklisted because they aborted a certain mission to save civilians or so it seems..a flick with a heart that is, plus the twists of the story and wise cracks are really tops (hint: “Don’t Stop Believing” song hehe!)
Its great for a chillax night with friends and I recommend PG18 for “sensitive” scenes. Words are not enough..you just have to watch it!
