Sting: Performs his most celebrated songs with orchestra

Sting releases a new album  to accompany his worldwide ‘Symphonicity’ tour. Deutsche Grammophon’s, released locally by MCA Music, new studio album ‘Symphonicities’ will find Sting performing his most celebrated songs re-imagined for symphonic arrangement.

‘Symphonicities’ includes fan-favorites from The Police songbook such as ‘Roxanne’ and ‘Next To You’, as well as songs from Sting’s enduring solo career including ‘Englishman in New York’, ‘I Burn for You’, ‘Why Should I Cry for You’ and ‘She’s Too Good For Me’, among many others. Produced by Rob Mathes and Sting, and mixed by Elliot Scheiner (Steely Dan, Fleetwood Mac) and Claudius Mittendorfer (Interpol, Franz Ferdinand), it will serve as the ultimate commemoration of the live concert, with the first single, ‘Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic’ now available digitally. Taylor Swift: Speak Now

Nashville, TN – July 20, 2010 – Taylor Swift’s highly-anticipated third studio album will be released worldwide on October 25th, Taylor herself announced this afternoon during a web chat with her fans.

Entitled SPEAK NOW, the album will be released on Big Machine Records and contains 14 tracks, all written solely by Taylor. Taylor co-produced the project with Nathan Chapman, and the first single from the new record, “Mine,” will be released on August 16th. Continue Reading »

At the Creating Shared Value Forum held recently at the New World hotel in Makati, Mario Capanzana, Head of the Food and Nutrition Research Institute (an office under the Department of Science and Technology) said, “Corporations can help solve RP malnutrition by Creating Shared Value”.  Said forum was attended by representatives of government, the business community, non-governmental organizations and other sectors in attendance lauded the event. This can be effective if  food companies, NGOs, aid agencies and other sectors of society  invest resources in developing and promoting nutritious, safe and affordable food products for the public, especially for the indigents.
