Downy AntiBac: A new Way To Ward Off Mosquitoes

Yo! Stop and read! This is great news considering that its the rainy season and dengue looms in the midst. Story goes a Filipina consumer told the Downy makers that she noticed mosquitoes don’t seem to flock on Downy Antibac-treated fabrics. Owing may be to its fresh scent since sweat is what attracts mosquitoes, still the Downy makers had their Downy Antibac tested.

The efficacy of Downy Antibac in repelling mosquitoes were based on studies done by 4 independent institutions around Asia including the Philippine Association of Entomologists (PAE).

We were invited and had a first hand look on one of the tests conducted wherein stuff toys (one not treated with Downy Antibac and another treated with Downy Antibac) were subjected to laboratory-grown mosquitoes in an eclosed glass container. Amazingly, the mosquitoes flocked to the non-treated toy and the treated toy..well, rarely visited by the mosquitoes. So now I highly recommend Downy Antibac especially to moms out there.

*Take note this does not mean it can replace insect repellant lotions mind you.

Cheers and Godbless! =]
