February 21, 2010 marked a  monumental day in MCA Music history as the ORIGINAL acoustic sensation who relived people’s love for strings clinched NOT JUST 1, BUT 3 awards for the success of her album, I Love Acoustic!

Sabrina, the voice behind her acoustic hits “A Thousand Miles,” “Superman,” was awarded in ASAP XV by non other than the President of MCA Music Philippines, Mr. Ricky Ilacad, together with the Domestic Artist & Repertoire Manager Francis Guevarra. Sabrina was given full-force support by the MCA Music Team — Marketing Director Wilson Cruz, Advertising & Promotions Manager Grace Foronda, and Domestic Label Executive Christina Asperilla as she received her local and international awards.

In Indonesia, Sabrina clinched the Platinum Status and received an award by Universal Music Indonesia; attained the Gold Status in Thailand and was sent a plaque of recognition, and reached the Gold status in the Philippines, and received an award as well. In the history of Philippine music, Sabrina is one of very few (if not the first) to have an album released in an international territory, and attain the Platinum and Gold Status (both internationally and locally) in a very short span of time. There may have been a plethora of other Acoustic artists who have emerged left and right, but SABRINA is truly the ORIGINAL songstress who redefined acoustic to a whole new level.

Sabrina also launched her carrier single “Because of You” from her latest album, I LOVE ACOUSTIC TOO.
