*The photos in this post were from a mall event wherein fans  were given a chance to write a dedication in honor of the pop legend.

According to CNN.com Michael Jackson’s funeral has been moved from Aug. 29, 2009 (MJ’s birthday) to September 3, 2009 and will be held at Glendale Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California.

No reason was given for the change in date and the ceremony will be limited to family and close friends.
