The Saturdays..I must admit to have not ”really followed of this all-girls group but their single “Ïf This Is Love” (Ugly Betty) has been such a nice tune ringing in my ear a few tick-tocks ago. Their remake of Depeche Mode’s “Just Can’t Get Enough” plus the video is a real girly treat! On You Tube they apparently gained more than 3 million hits for their songs “Ïssues” and “Work”.

Billboard reviewed their album as “infectious” and well, for me some tracks can pass as exercise tracks (yes, downloaded it on the i-pod haha!)

Aside from my personal comparisons/look alikes, Franke (Dita Von Teese), Mollie (Kim Basinger), Vanessa (half-Filipina from Davao looks like a supermodel), Rochelle (looks like a character from CSI) and Una (Jennifer Love Hewitt or one of the Olsen Twins not the anorexic one ,ind you!), I was blown away when asked what makes them different from the Spice Girls or any other girl group for that matter..”because we love to sing live for everyone”was the answer.

OOOh, in the Philippines 95% of the population sings so when we waited for their live performance everyone was all ears. We were not disappointed really..honestly, I liked them more singing live and in acoustic!
