I started blogging on Multiply to document certain events in my life like our family’s grand reunion last December 2007, foodtrips, movies I enjoyed, cosplays I went to and sometimes vent out my frustrations in law school. As I started frequenting events, movie premieres, etc. I met a lot of bloggers whom have been not just mere acquaintances but some are real friends to say the least.

Blogging is foremost to share ideas, experiences, etc. Now it has grown into a medium to promote products, advocacies, etc. It has evolved into a new medium to reckon with for ’tis fast paced and global..one negative post can make or break a product, an event, an advocacy, a company and yes, a person.

I joined a group www.pataygutom.com basically because the contributors are friends whom I’ve met on events, those whom have helped me “pimp” my blogs, most of them who won last year’s Top Ten Emerging Influential Blogs; they have helped me in the blogosphere..influenced me so to speak.

Am so honored to belong to www.pataygutom.com which has become such a controversial blog sparking different takes on the term “patay gutom”. But really, its a food blog of where we enjoyed a meal, of eateries or restaurants we accidentally found while searching for some grub, of recipes borne out of a lazy day of going out to grab groceriees..a blog about food, people who enjoy food..just FOOD!

Thank you Ms. Janette Toral for conceiving the Top Ten Emerging Influential Awards, thank you positive people for nominating us, thank you fellow patay gutoms (PGB’s) and thank you also for some who believe that our recognition is “an empty award”.
